CATAN Exp: Cities & Knights - 6th Edition (English) - Board Games - Strategy/Expansion

The CATAN Expansion: Cities & Knights – 6th Edition adds new strategic layers to the classic CATAN board game. Players develop their settlements into thriving cities, collect unique commodities like cloth, coin, and paper, and use progress cards to enhance their cities through advancements in trade, politics, and science.

This expansion introduces a cooperative yet competitive barbarian threat mechanic. Players must work together to defend Catan with knights; failure to do so results in damage to the weakest city, encouraging tactical decisions and player interaction. The expansion supports 3 to 4 players by itself and can accommodate up to 6 with the 5-6 player extension.

• Advanced city development and knight tactics
• Barbarian invasion defense mechanic
• New commodities and progress cards
• Supports 3–6 players with extension
• Enhances resource management and player interaction
