This 2 to 4 player game deals numbered cards from 1 to 100, with each round increasing the number of cards per player, mirroring the current level. The goal is to play your cards in ascending order on a shared discard pile without verbal hints or gestures, making timing and intuition your only allies.
The game starts with each player holding a number of cards equal to the round number, and the team shares a number of lives equal to the number of players. If a player plays a card out of order, the team loses a life and clears the discard pile. To aid your silent strategy, players begin with one shuriken, which can be collectively used to discard the lowest cards face up, providing valuable, though limited, information to the team. Successfully completing levels awards additional shurikens or extra lives, enhancing your chances to conquer higher rounds.
For seasoned players seeking a greater challenge, The Mind offers an Extreme Mode where all played cards are placed face down, and the order is only revealed at the end of the level, increasing the stakes and requiring even sharper group intuition.
