Dixit is the lovingly illustrated game of creative guesswork, where your imagination unlocks the tale. In this award-winning board game, players will use the beautiful imagery on their cards to bluff their opponents and guess which image matches the story. Guessing right is only half the battle – to really succeed, you’ll have to get your friends to decide that your card tells the story!
Every turn, the storyteller will call out a short phrase or word to match the image on his card. Then each player will choose the card that most closely matches that phrase, and then everyone must guess which card the storyteller saw when he invented his brief tale. Correctly guess the storyteller’s card, and you’ll move ahead. Convince everyone else that your card is best, and you’ll do even better.
Dixit is a wonderfully simple game, playable by nearly anyone with whom you share a common language. With a fantastic range of beautiful illustrations and rules that can be understood by children and adults alike, Dixit will appeal to anyone with an imagination!
Dixit Board Game is recommended for 3-6 players ages 6 and up, and takes approximately 30 minutes to play.

We played this at a friends house and had so much fun. Definitely not a game to play every day but we have young nieces and nephews so this is a better option for playing with them than our usual games (ie gloomhaven). Simple to learn and constantly mess up the rules, but that is the beauty of it!

My boyfriend’s family brought the regular version of the game to a family vacation and we loved it so much I knew I had to buy it for when my family came to town.The ‘Flip Side’ version does keep you on your toes even more – for the first round of playing with new people we played the ‘normal’ way (ignoring the flip side rule) so that others could get used to the play of the game. And then we added in the Flip Side and it made the game even more challenging/competitive! Maybe a bit too competitive as my sister and boyfriend collided fingers/fingernails and blood was drawn – so we had to call it quits (still absolutely love the game, don’t want to scare anyone away!!).

This game is great for kids and adults! Perfect for packing a in suitcase to bring to a hotel or loved ones home. I have bruises on my hand from the intense competition that is slapping hands for victory. They are battle scars I wear with honor whilst I shout “CHEESE!” Physical contact not required if you’re a weakling, but you’re a wet blanket otherwise

I learnt to play this game with the regular taco cat goat cheese pizza version, and once I caught on I was hooked! The game is fun, fast and addictive! Your hands may just hurt if you’re playing with a big group of people but it is most definitely worth it! Easy to learn and clean so even children can play. The pictures are large and bright so even those who can’t read will be able to play. This version is a bit more complicated than the regular one, but not hard to learn either. Do yourself a favor! Buy this great game!!

I was looking to buy another copy of this game since the cards in my original set were getting destroyed from the constant usage and I came across this. It is a great new way to play the game.
