On December 17, 1903, Orville Wright piloted the first powered airplane 20 feet above a wind-swept beach in North Carolina. The flight lasted 12 seconds and covered 120 feet. From 1905 to 1907, Orville and his brother, Wilbur Wright, developed their “flying machine” into the first practical fixed-wing aircraft.
Now you can have your very own miniature model of the very first airplane protype with the Wright Brothers Airplane 3D Metal Model kit. This amazingly detailed DIY model starts as a 4″ laser-cut square steel sheet, and finishes as a beautiful 3D model. Use the easy to follow instructions to pop out the pieces, bend the tabs, and connect them at the attachment points.
Build your collection of 3D laser-cut models, and create your own metal world!
