Fluxx sounds simple enough, really. Until the rules start to change, constantly. Fluxx just got mathematical with Math Fluxx!
It all begins with one basic rule: draw one card then play one card. Starting with a hand of three cards, you add the card you drew to your hand, choose one card to play, then follow the directions written on your chosen card. As cards are drawn and played from the deck, the rules of the game change from how many cards are drawn, played, or even how many cards you can hold at the end of your turn, not to mention the goal of the game.
In Math Fluxx, players attempt to complete mathematical goals by playing positive integers from their hand of cards. If it was only as easy as putting 4 and 2 together to achieve a goal of 42… Math Fluxx features a “Plan B Meta Ruleâ€, a special victory condition that gives players another way to win! For example the “Plus Victory†card allows players to add all their Keepers up to the current goal and win the game. Can you keep up with the pace of the ever-changing rules?
Math Fluxx is recommended for 2-6 players, ages 8 and up… and for the aspiring math wizard.
