This is not just any Tanker bug. Its the same one Johnny Rico threw a grenade inside. You can see the small hole in the top where it was shot open. Its blood is probably the same blood splattered on the Rico pop. Excellent homage to my fave movie.

Box absolutely destroyed. How is this even acceptable to sell as “New”Update 3/28/2022 Replacement came in and box was in much better condition. Still leaving low rating because shouldn’t have had to go through return process in the first place. And the fact it had a sticker on the box showing it had been quality checked is an absolute joke.

The pop itself is cool and in good condition. The box is dinged up and creased though making it kinda ugly to display in box.

The box arrived a little beaten up but with no major damage, the pop itself was much bigger than i expected and incredibly detailed i am very impressed. and if you happen to be a fan of the movie but not funko pops its still fantastic it looks more like a figurine of the bug then a funko pop the eyes remain green and don’t have that usually round black funko look. its really really cool.

If you’re a Funko Pop in box collector, don’t bother. TRUST ME. They ship these pops in a box in which the pop fits flush on each side, so if you’re familiar with Issac Newton’s law of transfer of force, then you know the main problem with that. They also add no bubble wrap, because *reasons*. And if you use a box cutter to open it you slice write through your pop box… enjoy.

I love the bug. I did Not like that it appeared to have been either “Antiqued” or was open and sitting on a shelf for a while. I have not opened it yet until I can get someone who knows if the Tanker Funko Pop was supposed to be like this. I have seen others that looked “shiny and new”.It almost looks like it was intentionally done to make it appear as if it just came up from the ground, like in the Original Starship Troopers. If this is the case and it is supposed to look like this, I will change to a 5 star.Otherwise excellent service from seller

Like others have mentioned consistently. The box was damaged in multiple areas. Pretty sad they would ship it like that to paying customers knowing it’s a collectible that could hold value in the future.
