Fraud Prevention
Customers placing orders of large quantities or amounts will be contacted by Mind Games customer service to provide valid proof of ID or a utility bill matching the billing address on file. This step protects our customers and the business from fraud and prevents theft of orders left on doorsteps.
You may receive an email requesting this verification before we process your order. If there are discrepancies between the proof of ID and the billing address, we reserve the right to cancel the order.
The order will be automatically canceled and refunded if we do not hear back within 3 business days.
Returns
Mind Games will accept returns on merchandise within 14 days, provided the item is unopened and in as-new, resalable condition.
Customers are responsible for return shipments unless the received item is damaged, defective, or incorrect. Once the item has been received by Mind Games, a refund for the item will be processed and issued, excluding the shipping fee.
- All items purchased on promotion or sale are FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE.
- Collectibles, trading cards, discontinued merchandise, and items marked as special, markdown, clearance, Door Crashers, or on sale, ending with $.95 or $.97 are considered as FINAL SALE.
Online purchases cannot be returned directly to Mind Games physical stores and must initially be addressed through our Contact Us.
If the item received is damaged, defective, or incorrect (subject to head office approval), Mind Games will provide a prepaid return label. Once the item has been returned by the customer, Mind Games will issue a replacement or refund, depending on the customer’s decision and product availability.
Mind Games Club members are eligible for an extended return policy and may return or exchange within 30 days.
Price Match
While we strive to maintain consistency in our pricing across all platforms, you may occasionally find lower/higher prices online or in-store due to differing operating costs and competition in the online marketplace.
- Mind Games online prices cannot be price-matched to any Mind Games in-store, marketplace, or other third-party vendor prices
- Online prices can be higher due to factors such as high demand, limited availability, and logistics-related, making it difficult to offer price-matching
- Online prices may be lower than in-store due to various factors such as marketing strategies, shipping promotions, and more
- Mind Games website prices may differ from those in-store due to exclusive online discounts and promotions, resulting in different prices
Payment Method
Mind Games accepts Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, and PayPal.
If we do not receive any payment on your order, your order will automatically be canceled.
Shipping
- All online orders must be placed through www.mindgames.ca. Mind Games does not accept orders over the phone.
- Orders are not allowed for exchange of the item, but customers can request cancellation if the order has not yet been shipped. Please Contact Us and Mind Games will issue a refund within 3-5 business days. Customers should then proceed to place a new order for the desired item.
- If a customer decides to remove items or reduce quantities of their order, please Contact Us. Please note that quantity and price may vary and are subject to change.
- Orders are shipped using Canada Post. Packages will be shipped to the provided shipping address, please review your order for accuracy before submitting.
- Customers will receive an email confirming that payment has been received, and a second email announcing that your package has been shipped.
- If your order says “in process” for over a week, please Contact Us to check the status and provide you with additional information
- If your order has been returned to us due to “moved/unknown”, “incomplete address”, or “unclaimed”, a refund will be issued for the item itself, excluding shipping fees. Please ensure that you provide accurate shipping information to avoid such issues and restocking fees.
- Online orders are not allowed for pick-up in stores
- Mind Games reserves the right to cancel and refund any order that includes multiple/separate orders for the same item with quantities exceeding the maximum allowed or if pricing errors occur.
Shipping Fees
- Shipping costs are calculated based on the size of the package, the destination, and the current national shipping rates. A flat rate is applied and will be displayed upon checking out
- Shipping charges are non-refundable
- Customers and recipients are never required to pay additional fees at time of delivery
Return Shipping Fees
- Customers are responsible for return shipments; certain exclusions may apply. Once an item has been received by Mind Games, a refund for the item will be processed and issued, excluding the shipping fee.
- Mind Games is not responsible for any item lost in return transit. Mind Games will open a service ticket with the carrier for further investigation and may require additional information from the customer to proceed with the claim.
Order Cancellation
- You are entitled to cancel your online order before 6:00 am EST the following day. If, for any reason, your ENTIRE ORDER becomes out of stock or if there is an inventory glitch on our website, your order will be automatically canceled and refunded
- Mind Games will contact the customer via email or phone call if any items in the order are out of stock, while other items are available for shipment. We highly recommend that customers check their junk/spam folders for messages. If Mind Games does not receive a response within 3 business days regarding your confirmation, the order will be automatically canceled and refunded.
Mind Games cannot process any cancellation of orders once the order has already been shipped and is in transit. If the customer wishes to cancel their order despite it being in transit, the customer can refuse the package or return it to the post office (additional fees may apply). Upon receipt of the returned package, Mind Games will issue a refund for the item’s price within 3-5 business days, excluding any shipping fees.
