I bought this as a birthday gift for my boyfriend. It took me about 8.5 hours to finish it, but was totally worth it! I was very entertained the whole time and the instructions are very easy to follow. The music box plays “Cant take my eyes off of you”

This was a gift for my 12 year old. She was able to completely assemble it by herself! She enjoyed it so much that she wants to do another. Only drawback was that the glue that came with was dried up, but we used wood glue we had and it worked fine

This was a fun project. The pieces are sturdy and even though I was delicate with separating them, I never felt like they were going to break or chip. The robot is really intricate and looks good on my bookshelf. As always, pay attention to directions. I installed some things backwards because the pieces look similar- but aren’t. The directions are pretty well written, but I don’t think you need to glue as much as they say- just when the instructions alert you to specifically glue a part.

Every year for 10+ years I gave my son a Lego set for something to do during Christmas break. This year, returning from college, I got him something different. It was a change and challenging. He loved it! The melody doesn’t work really well, which is sad. But he did enjoy building it.
